The ball mill is driven by the motor through cylindrical gear reducer and peripheral bull gear reducer or by low speed synchronous motor directly through bull gear reducer, so as to drive the rotary part to rotate. The drum is filled with suitable grinding mediums steel balls or bars. The ore grinding mediums are raised to a height by centrifugal force and frictional force and then drop in the state of throwing or rushing down. The materials to be ground continuously enter the drum through the feed opening and are pulverized by moving grinding mediums, and then discharged out of the machine by actions of overflow and continuous feed so as to enter the next procedure.
